Check out this beauty!

I went hiking around the start of May, when the weather was beautiful. While on my hike I found this little guy hanging out on a rock. He was more then happy to let me take his photo. DSCN7868

And then I took this photo as I was walking on the river trail. DSCN7825

And I am not sure what these flowers were, but I thought they had a beauty about them. So I took their photo as well on the river trail.

And this is at the top of Smith Rock. For those of you who wonder why I moved to Oregon, this is why.

It’s as simple as that.

Seattle Part 1

Hello fans!

It’s been awhile, I know. I still don’t have any internet at the house, which makes it hard to post. But not to worry, that could all change once I start school April 1st!

So, I took a trip to Seattle about two weekends ago with some friends. We had a blast, even if it was super cold. But because of this super cold, I didn’t get to take a lot of photos. My hands thought it was nicer in my pockets. I did get a few nice shots but I am still editing most of my photos from the trip.

I do have one photo, that my friend took with my camera  and I edited it. I thought it would be nice to post the before and after photo.

Stay tuned in because part two will be coming soon and that is where the fun truly is.

Daily Jog

I have been getting pretty good at going jogging three times a week since I moved. The view makes going for a jog even easier.

Now, don’t judge me bases on the photos I am about to post. I used my phone to take them because taking my camera on a jog is hard. It is a bit too much weight.

I love seeing all the deer while I go jogging. Plus I also get to see all this other wild life like chipmunk and beautiful blue birds. Don’t forget the ducks I see as I run along the river.

Now, be ready for next weekend. I’m going to Seattle for about three days or so and I will be taking photos every chance I get! I will have some great things to share.

Have a great day guys!

Now Then…

Now that I am getting settled into my new home, I might be able to jump back on the wagon of my photography. The last two weeks have been a bit crazy. I went up to the college, which is harder to get to then you would think, and started the process of getting signed up. I have to return on March 20th to sign up for classes and talk with a adviser. Let me tell you, the college ground is beautiful! Every time I go up their, I fall in love a little more with Oregon. Every building is surrounded by trees and plant life. I want to take my camera up there on March 20th and take some photos of the landscape. It’s just beautiful.

I also got a new car. Or at lest new to me. It’s a 1993 Blazer. Nice little truck and I really like. Down side? It had a oil leak and not a small one. The seals on the oil gasket were old and falling apart so my dad and I had to climb under my truck and change the seals. What should have been a simple fix, took almost a whole day. The people who had the car before us, thought it would be wise to use glue on the seals, making it very hard for us to get the old seals off. We ended up having to take parts of my car off to even get the gasket out. Once we got it out, we spent about thirty minutes  getting old glue off. And then the process of getting the glue back on took even longer. Needless to say, my car no longer leaks.

Now, until I get more recent photos taken, I’ll leave you guys with an older one. My dad and I did some hiking while I was visiting last summer and we came upon this beautiful waterfall.

"The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it's so great, because for a little bit I'm out of my brain, and it's got nothing to do with me. I'm not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness."--Chris Evans
